food, people, things, situations,
不論是飲食和人物，還是事情和環(huán)境，
and everything that drew me down and away from myself.
我遠(yuǎn)離一切讓我遠(yuǎn)離本真的東西。
At first I called this attitude a healthy egoism.
從前我把這叫做“追求健康的自私自利”，
Today I know it is
但今天我明白了，這是
"LOVE OF ONESELF".
“愛(ài)自己”。
As I began to love myself
當(dāng)我開(kāi)始真正愛(ài)自己，
I quit trying to always be right,
我不再總想著要永遠(yuǎn)正確，
and ever since I was wrong less of the time.
不犯錯(cuò)誤。
Today I discovered that is
我今天明白了，這叫做
"MODESTY".
“謙遜”。
As I began to love myself
我當(dāng)開(kāi)始真正愛(ài)自己，
I refused to go on living in the past
我不再繼續(xù)沉溺于過(guò)去，
and worry about the future.
也不再為明天而憂慮，
Now, I only live for the moment,
現(xiàn)在我只活在
where EVERYTHING is happening.
一切正在發(fā)生的當(dāng)下，
Today I live each day, day by day,
今天，我活在此時(shí)此地，
and I call it
如此日復(fù)一日。這就叫
"PERFECTION".
“完美”。
As I began to love myself
當(dāng)我開(kāi)始真正愛(ài)自己，
I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick.
我明白，我的思慮讓我變得貧乏和病態(tài)，
But as I connected it to my heart,
但當(dāng)我喚起了心靈的力量，
my mind became a valuable ally.
理智就變成了一個(gè)重要的伙伴，
Today I call this connection
這種組合我稱之為，
WISDOM OF THE HEART.
“心靈的智慧”。
We no longer need to fear arguments,
我們無(wú)須再害怕自己和他人的分歧，
confrontations or any kind of problems with ourselves or others.
矛盾和問(wèn)題，
Even stars collide,
因?yàn)榧词剐切怯袝r(shí)也會(huì)碰在一起，
and out of their crashing new worlds are born.
形成新的世界，
Today I know
今天我明白，
That is LIFE!
這就是“生命”!
